Opioids Recovery

Here's the challenge. All types of opioids are addictive. Both the brain and body develop a tolerance to them quickly, meaning more is needed to have the same effect.

Prescription opioids include oxycodone, hydrocodone, morphine, and methadone. Fentanyl is a very strong opioid that can be manufactured illegally. Speaking of illegal opioids, heroin remains the biggest. We know that opioid use disorder occurs when life becomes unmanageable.

Recovery begins with attending a support group meeting or talking to a counselor/peer support specialist.
